SESSION OBJECTIVE:

The session will discuss on the ambitious targets set by the Government towards a greener tomorrow, with Green Hydrogen being supported with:

  • National green hydrogen policy with a target of producing 5 million tons per annum by 2030. It also talks about tax breaks and allotment of land to set up plants.
  • Water and economical power are the two important resources needed to become a global Green Hydrogen player. India has a huge coastline and access to sea water with ample of sunlight for solar power needed to produce GH
  • Green hydrogen industry being in its initial stages and pilot projects to study the technology and costs, IT will take at least 5 years to show results.
